Brooks Cambium C15 Saddle Review

Changing the saddle is the single biggest difference you can make to how comfortable a bike feels when riding it. A saddle that fits underneath you properly won’t be noticeable and when that’s the case you’ll ride more simply because there’s no discomfort.

Brooks Cambium C15 Saddle Review

However, saddle choice is a very personal matter; over years of cycling I’ve perched on many saddles and Brooks have always been a perennial favourite. There is one small issue with a traditional Brooks leather saddle though; it has to be broken-in. The more you ride, the comfier it gets, but initially it’s horrible. Fortunately, Brooks now has its Cambium C15 Saddle which is made from rubber and cotton and requires no breaking in.

The Brooks Cambium C15 Saddle I’ve been using shares the same stylish rivets along the rear edge as a classic Brooks and is (for me at least) as comfortable as a well-worn, traditional leather one. It has that magical combination of being firm but at the same time forgiving.
